The process of ceramic coating will take between 1-3 days depending on the condition of your paint, the size of the vehicle and the packages you select. The 1st step is to wash and prep the vehicle. The 2nd step is to correct all the imperfections in the paint such as swirls and scratches. Once the vehicle is properly prepped, a body shop safe prep solvent will be applied to the entire vehicle to get to bare paint. At this stage the coating process will begin, and each panel of the vehicle will have ceramic applied, leveled, and stacked to achieve the package you have selected.

Yes. To maintain your warranty, you need to attend an annual service. This is to ensure ceramic performs properly for the entire length of the warranty. If an annual inspection is missed, the warranty could be voided.
You should wait 14 days before the 1st wash to allow the solvents to outgas and fully cure. If you notice that your car gets water spots, bird droppings, tree sap etc. during these two weeks immediately remove it following our care instructions. Keep in mind the coating is softer during the 14 days so work on the paint very gently.

When we finalize the correction process, our Aura Detail technicians apply the ceramic coating by hand with a one-inch soft foam applicator. We top off this coat with a special nano-ceramic sealant composed of silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide to give your car an extra layer of immunity. The last step is to ensure the ceramic coat cures for 6 hours to achieve a hydrophobic surface and a permanent bond.
A properly applied ceramic coat will show water beads (a phenomenon that occurs on the body paint when water droplets form on top of the painted surface instead of sticking). We make sure the coating is maintained in a controlled environment during the curing time to ensure proper bonding to the car’s paint.
Annual Inspections must be carried out by an approved applicator, within 30 days before or after the anniversary date of the last service to maintain the warranty. Failure to undertake an annual inspection within the required period will void the warranty. A fee of $150-$250 will be charged for the Annual Inspection, which includes – Exterior Wash, Decontamination, Application of Topcoat, and Inspection.

Absolutely! We come fully equipped and self-sufficient — no water or electricity required on your end in most cases. Every once in a while we may need to top off our water supply, but that's the exception not the rule. We can perform our services virtually anywhere — your home, office, apartment, or wherever your vehicle is parked. If we do need a quick water top-off, we'll let you know ahead of time.
Each detail takes a different amount of time depending on the size and dirtyness of the vehicle. On average it takes 1.5-3.5 hours for an Exterior Detail job. It takes 1.5-3.5 hours for an Interior Detail job, and it takes 3-5 hours for a Full Detail job.
